Watercolour by W.H. Pearson, 'Running for Port'

William Henry Pearson was a prolific British marine artist in the years 1890 to 1920. This recently re-framed painting is a fine example of his work which is signed and inscribed 'Running for Port' in the lower right corner (see detailed images).

Overall dimensions are 86.0 x 43.8 cm.

The size and frame matches that of 'Off Dover'.
