This is a fine 19th Century Spyglass with 2 main telescopic brass tubes inside a wooden barrel bound in heavy duty stitched brown leather. It has a diameter of 6 cm (2.4") and a closed length of about 28 cm (11"). It extends to more than 61 cm (24"). The diameter of the ocular lens is 14 mm and the objective lens opening is 28 mm in diameter. The objective lens is protected by a brass shutter. There are no identifying marks. |
